After a mass email send is complete, a delivery summary is provided within the mass email tool, however the delivery details can be viewed in in Reports > Standard Reports > Mass Email Details.

Mass Email Details standard report:

The Status column shows the following:

The Name column provides a hyperlink to open the record in a new tab and make edits to the email address, or add a note, tag, etc.

Consistently high bounce rates exceeding 2% to 5% can damage your sender reputation. Major inbox providers (like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo) will view your emails as spam, which causes future emails to be heavily throttled or routed straight to spam folders.

With this mind, you may want to remove email addresses that bounce back from the record, or tag it as such to exclude it from your email list when selecting the sender list on future emails.

Preventing Bounce Backs

Before sending an email in Campaign Manager, you might consider downloading your email list from Contacts and using a 3rd party vendor to validate emails. We do not have a tool for this within Campaign Manager.

There are a few different services we can recommend like ZeroBounce and Emailable  each typically allows for 100-300 free validation credits to get started.

Performing this process will allow you to vet your email list first, then you can decide to remove or edit the email on the donor profile, or add a tag to suppress them being included in your future email lists. This might preserve your email reputation and ensure delivery to inboxes.
