1.28. How To Mark A Compliance Report as Filed

Campaign Manager allows for you to mark any compliance report as efiled within the compliance history screen. There are occasions where a report has been filed with the FEC, but the filing marker does not appear on that filed report even if you received the electronic confirmation that the report was filed.

This data entry also applies to state compliance reports too if you want to mark those as filed.

Follow the steps below to mark a compliance report as efiled -

1. Hover over the compliance tab > click government reports.

2. On the right hand side is a history of all of the government reports that have been generated with the FEC. (If you are a state filer, click the states option > click the applicable state that you are filing for.)

3. Each report has a carrot drop down icon to its right. Click on the drop down option > click Edit.

4. There is a filed date and a confirmation ID. Fill in the confirmation ID with the FEC ID that was provided, or your state's confirmation ID for a state report. And then fill in the filed date of when the report was filed.

5. Once both details are filled in, hit the save option and you should see the filed marker on the report.
