25.12. How do I Enter Negative H3 Federal to State Transfer that will Impact my State Report Positively?

To accomplish this, please take the following steps:

  1. On the state committee's record, enter a negative receipt using the federal committee's account with the transfer box checked and a fundraising allocation set. This transaction will pull to the H3 on the FEC report as a negative.



  2. On the federal committee's record, enter a positive receipt using the state committee's account. with the transfer box checked.



  3. Then the two transactions need to be linked using the advanced tab.
