Pledge Tracking

Pledges are promises to contribute to a committee. Campaign Manager allows for Pledge Tracking so you can see who has promised to make a contribution and who has fulfilled that promise.

How to add a Pledge to an Individual or Organization:

  1. Search for and select the individual or organization making the pledge.
  2. Choose the Pledges tab.
  3. Click the green Add button.
  4. Fill in the appropriate Type, Amount, and Date.
  5. If the pledge is associated with a specific event or communication, the Event and Communication drop-down boxes can be used to link them.
  6. Click the green Save button.



How to enter contributions towards the pledge:

  1. Search for and select the individual or organization that made the pledge.
  2. Choose the Pledges tab.
  3. Click the Fulfill.
  4. Fill in the amount and date of the write-off.
  5. Click Save/Close.


  1. Alternatively, you can go to the Transactions tab of the record's profile.
  2. Click New Transaction and select the proper contribution type.
  3. When you are filling out the contribution details, you'll be able to select the pledge from the Pledge drop-down. Please note that this option will not appear if the record does not have any saved pledges.
