Transfers to Affiliated Committees

There are a couple data points that must be in place in order for an expense to show on line 22:

1. The committee record the expense is saved to must be connected to the filing committee's record as an "Affiliated Committee"
2. The expense must have its "Reporting Code" field set to "Transfer"

 

Setting-up Affiliated Committee

1. Create the new committee record, making sure to enter the Committee ID#
2. You also need to set the "Committee Type" field to either "Multi-Candidate Federal PAC" or "Political Party Committee"
3. Click the "Save" button to save your changes
   

1. Next, find the Connections Tab. Open the dropdown menu and select "Affiliated Committee", then use the mini-search tool to select your filing committee (Name of your Committee)
2. Click the "Add" button to add this new connection

 

Creating the Line 22 Transaction:

Create the new expense on the new "Affiliated Committee" committee record you just created. Set the "Reporting Code" field to "008 - Transfers".
