10.15. Internal Transfers

Recording an Internal Transfer

  1. From the "Financial" menu, select "Internal Transfer".

  2. You will be taken to a split screen.  On the right, you will see the "Add Internal Transfer" input screen. Enter the amount and date in the "Amount" and "Date" fields.

  3. Select the source and destination committees from the "Source" and "Destination" dropdowns.

  4. Select the correct election and batch from the "Election Period" and "Batch" dropdowns.

  5. Select the correct allocation from the "Allocation" dropdown.

  6. (Optional) You have the option of entering a reporting description and internal memo if necessary in the "Reporting Description" and "Internal Memo" fields.

  7. Enter the check number for the transfer in the "Check Number" field.

  8. (Optional) You have the option of applying a category by selecting the appropriate category from the "Transaction Category" dropdown.

  9. Finally, save the transaction.
