6.1. Why is the Election Period Total blank?

Contact searches are returned based on the search criteria selected. For example, if your search is for contacts who contributed $10,000 or more, any contact who met that threshold will still appear in the results, even if a refund was later issued.

The Contacts Report calculates and displays the donor's net giving amount (total contributions minus refunds). As a result:

• Contacts who met the search criteria will still be included in the report.
• Refunds are automatically factored into the giving totals shown on the report.
• The amount displayed reflects the donor's net contribution to the campaign after any refunds have been deducted.
