Home → Campaign Manager → California Form 460 → Schedule D- Expenditures Supporting/Opposing Other Candidates, Measures and Committees
On expense transactions in CM, the Support-Oppose field at the bottom of the transaction screen is used to support candidates or ballot measures.
The candidate or measure being supported is entered in the Support/Oppose field of the transaction record. Either the Support or the Oppose button must also be selected. The name of the candidate and their office and district, or the ballot measure number or letter and jurisdiction, or the name of the committee, pull to the report as they are entered in the selected record. See below for a screenshot of the Support/Oppose section of the transaction record.
The support box is only meant to be checked for transactions supporting candidates or ballot measures, not for transactions supporting general purpose committees. Consequently we require either a candidate ID or a ballot measure to check the box.
